Octavian revs up for Luxury Motor Show
Derby-based Octavian Security has won the contract to be the sole provider of security at this year’s Luxury Motor Show in Nottinghamshire.
A team of officers will be at the event on Sunday 22 May at the Goosedale Conference and Banqueting centre in Papplewick, where they will be tasked with ensuring the safety of visitors. The company will also have responsibility for protecting VIPs and the host of luxury marques on display including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Aston Martin and Bentley.
Octavian Security’s commercial director Tony Mellor said: “The organisers of the Luxury Motor Show were particularly impressed with our extensive experience in the events sector.
“We have previously provided front of house security officers for a range of high-profile events, including Nottingham’s Goose Fair, The Ryder Cup, Royal Ascot and The Boat Race.
“We also have a continuing working relationship with the British Superbike Championship at Cadwell Park and The Nottingham Mela, meaning that we are well positioned to provide security at high footfall events such as the Luxury Motor Show.”
Octavian Security has also been announced as one of the headline sponsors for this year’s Luxury Motor Show, joining the likes of racing team MackRory Racing and law firm Fraser Brown.
