Nottingham team to partner Interserve
A team of Nottingham healthcare consultants are set to partner Interserve on a five-year framework secured with the Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
Consultants including CPMG Architects, Gleeds, Couch Perry & Wilkes and BWB Consulting are set to partner the support services and construction group.
Interserve has been appointed the preferred Principal Supply Chain Partner (PSCP) to the trust for the next five-year ProCure 21+ framework period.
Interserve will undertake the trust’s multimillion-pound Capital Investment Programme over the forthcoming period. Work will take place at the Queen’s Medical Centre, City Campus and Ropewalk House, ranging from small projects to major new-build facilities, refurbishments and maintenance.
All six of the ProCure 21+ Framework Partners were invited to express their interest, with Interserve being selected as the Trust’s Partner for the duration.
ProCure21+, which began operating in October 2010, replaces the ProCure21 programme through which Interserve undertook 136 schemes on behalf of 52 NHS Trusts since the programme started 2002.
David Paterson, Interserve executive director, said: “Interserve’s appointment in this prestigious partnership arrangement with the Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is excellent news. It will enable us to improve the Trust’s hospitals to meet the changing needs of its patients, which is a theme running throughout ProCure21+.
“Interserve is the only Health framework partner supporting the NHS across England, Scotland and Wales. To date we have delivered several long-term capital works programmes with other NHS Trusts, creating partnerships and working as integrated teams that deliver high quality projects while driving down costs.”
