Lincoln Hilton design revealed

Designs of the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Lincoln have been unveiled by developer Brayford Hotels. The hotel, which is currently being built on Brayford Wharf North, includes 115 bedrooms and a ballroom.

The hotel is set to open towards the end of 2011. It will also include a rooftop bar and restaurant, which visitors will be able to access through a glass lift. A ballroom with a capacity of 300 and more than 5,000 sq ft of meeting room space is also incorporated.

Brayford Hotels’ director, Leigh Hall, said: “The DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln will be a design-led, aspirational hotel. Not only will it be a first for Lincoln but it also represents one of the first purpose-built DoubleTree by Hilton hotels in the UK.

“When complete, the DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln will boost the city’s offering to tourists and provide a world-class hotel facility for both residents and businesses to enjoy.”
