Leicester Conferences takes silver
The University of Leicester’s conference division has scooped a silver award at the Meetings and Incentives Travel Awards.
Leicester Conferences took the award in the category of 'Best Value for Money Conference Venue'.
The awards ceremony was held in Westminster, London and hosted by Kate Silverton, presenter and broadcast journalist at the BBC.
The awards attracted entries from national and international organisations including Marriott Hotels, De Vere Venues, Warwick Conferences, Conference Aston and Imago (Loughborough University).
Trevor Miller, conference cales and marketing manager at Leicester Conferences, said: “It’s a fantastic achievement for us to be nationally recognised for a third year as a venue that consistently offers value for money. It is particularly rewarding to be rated among venues that have dedicated ‘year-round’ conference facilities, unlike Leicester where we use central campus facilities.”
