EPN event to take place in Leicestershire
Encouraging enterprise and volunteering will be discussed at an enterprising places network (EPN) event in Uppingham next week. Organised by Unleashing Enterprise, the event will also focus on the importance of developing enterprise in rural communities.
Entrepreneurs and regional businesses will be joined by local councilors at the event at the Falcon Hotel in Uppingham, Rutland, on 3 March.
Unleashing Enterprise is an enterprise programme supported by the East Midlands Development Agency (Emda).
The day will feature case studies from community ambassadors who will showcase inspiring ideas and local successes, with a view to developing a best practice guide that will inform future economic growth and development in the region.
The event will be hosted by Ron Simpson, secretary of Uppingham First, who will discuss the successs of several regional businesses and the economic development of the county.
