Leonard Curtis agrees £5m finance deal
Recovery and restructuring firm Leonard Curtis has secured a £5m funding package with The Co-operative Bank. The firm, which has offices in Birmingham and Wolverhampton, said the funding would finance a national expansion of the business.
Leonard Curtis, which employs 150 people across eight UK offices, is set to use the funds to grow the turnaround and debt advisory division and corporate strategies.
Paul Masters, director of Leonard Curtis for the Midlands, said: “We have a strategy in place to significantly grow our business across the Midlands over the next few years and this funding package will help us achieve this aim. We are already in negotiations for more office space to cater for the new staff we will need.
“Corporate strategies provides a unique set of services for the SME market and we are seeing large numbers of businesses seeking advice on cash management, financing and general turnaround/restructuring matters. This investment will allow us to scale up to meet the demand for these services across the Midlands.”
The company has six other UK offices in Bristol, Manchester, Bury, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, London and Blackburn.
