Aggora Group cooks up expansion
The Aggora Group has taken an extra unit at the Centech Park industrial estate in Redditch. The company has agreed terms on a three-year lease worth £10,000 a year at the Thornhill Road premises.
The company supplies catering equipment solutions to the food servicing industry.
Through agents John Truslove, the Aggora Group secured a 3,383 sq ft factory/warehouse as it needed additional space to expand its operations.
The £8m-turnover firm, which employs 70 people, also has offices in London and Glasgow.
It is owned by managing director Simon Pointon and his business partner Doug Thewlis.
Pointon said: “We have been expanding and needed the extra space. Customers had cut their spending back but we decided to beat the recession by growing through it rather than standing still.”
The company supplies services for blue-chip clients including BT, KPMG, London Stock Exchange, Sainsbury's, Shell, and Vodafone.
