Capula starts recruitment drive
Staffordshire-based IT specialist Capula has revealed plans to create up to 50 new jobs across its five UK sites. The company said the recruitment drive has come in response to several contract wins.
Roles will include project managers, system and software engineers and IT specialists.
Capula has won several orders in recent months and has been selected to work on several large schemes throughout the UK, including the delivery of one of the first UK Smart Grid projects under the Low Carbon Network Fund.
Chief executive Roger Turner said: “Last year was an excellent achievement for Capula in the face of very challenging market conditions. 2011 has started in a similar fashion and it is as a result of our continuing success that we are looking to expand our workforce.
“When our clients choose Capula for a project, they’re not just choosing our solutions, they’re choosing our people as well. We are therefore looking for high calibre applicants throughout the company to help drive us forward in 2011 and the coming years.”
The company also has offices in Aberdeen, Whitehaven, Gloucester and Reading.
