Stehlin makes its mark with £3.5m finance deal
Nottingham-based Stehlin Hostag Ink has completed a £3.5m refinancing deal with Leumi ABL. The company, which distributes inks and varnishes, received an invoice discounting facility from the bank.
Stehlin Hostag operates from five sites across the UK and has an annual turnover of £30m. It is part of the £670m-turnover Huber Group, headquartered in Germany, which is one of the largest global ink suppliers in the world.
The company said that the refinancing deal would support its future growth plans.
Leumi ABL was introduced to the refinancing deal through The Co-operative Group in Nottingham.
Jason Holland, Leumi ABL Midlands regional sales director, said: “Like many other businesses, margins have been squeezed during the recent industry downturn but Stehlin Hostag has strong support from their German parent and enjoys much customer loyalty. The new funding from Leumi ABL will provide the flexibility they need to support further growth plans.”
