Hügli grows with HQ extension
Hügli, a supplier of dry blended foods, has expanded its UK operations by doubling its head office and onsite production facilities in Redditch.
The manufacturer said it has grown its headquarters to 100,000 sq ft to meet increased customer demand. The larger site will also provide two factories which aim to expand the company’s product range.
Construction on the extension is due to be completed by the spring.
Richard Bailey, managing director of Hügli UK, said: “Alongside increasing our services to leading UK retailers, the last few years has seen us achieve significant new business wins including blending, packaging and distribution services for award winning hot drink company, Drink Me Chai.
“The factory extension allows us to meet existing customer demand while continuing to pursue opportunities to work with new customers across a variety of sectors. We shall be able to offer dedicated sweet and savoury production lines and manufacture products at our UK site, such as sauces and bouillons, which have traditionally been made in Hügli’s European factories.”
