Seddon completes Nottingham care home
Seddon Construction, based in Stoke-on-Trent, has completed a £3.5m contract to build a care home in Nottingham.
Beechdale Manor has been constructed to comprise a 65-bedroom care home including a specialist floor dedicated to the care of dementia patients.
The site also includes cinema, pub and reminiscence room to support the residents and offer them a high quality and supportive environment.
This is the first care home Seddon Construction has built for London-based developer Bondcare. The two agreed a five-year partnership in 2009.
Two other sites have also been allocated to the company in the West Midlands. These and the Nottingham site represent a combined contract value totalling approximately £12m.
Adam Williams, from Seddon Construction, said: "The partnership provides continuity of work and gives both parties the opportunity to maximise the benefits of long term collaborations and the cost value benefits that brings."
