East Midlands property agent Innes England has let three Leicester-based industrial units for Jelson Homes. Among the deals is the letting of five units at East Goscote Industrial Estate totaling more than 21,000 sq ft.

Units 60 to 65 at the estate, consisting of 21,083 sq ft, have been let to distribution company Pauline Edwards Transport.

The second deal advised by Innes England is 62 to 66 Hayhill Industrial Estate, Barrow-on-Soar, which has been let to Germany-based Kaimann. The premises comprise a single storey industrial unit of 10,805 sq ft and the company specialises in the installation and maintenance of heating systems.

Unit 35 on the new Interchange Leicester business park development in Birstall has been let to carpentry business Twenty One Twelve.

Peter Doleman, of the Leicester office of Innes England, said the lettings “confirmed the popularity” of North Leicestershire’s industrial property market.

He said: “The completion of the first phase of Interchange Leicester is particularly pleasing as, since the onset of the recession, there has been very little speculative industrial building around Leicestershire. The fact that we have now let all of the units in the first phase shows that that the demand is there, which is a positive sign for the region.”
