New audit director at Smith Cooper
Birmingham-based business adviser Smith Cooper has appointed a new audit director. Adrian Jones will take on the role after leaving his position as head of audit and business assurance at BDO in the city.
Jones has more than 20 years’ experience advising businesses of varying sizes and belonging to a range of sectors.
In his new role as audit director, he will be working with clients to deliver audit and assurance services, shareholder value and business growth. He will also be part of the firm’s transaction support team working on investigation and due diligence assignments on behalf of clients and funders.
Jones said: “I am delighted to have joined the team at Smith Cooper in Birmingham. The firm has clear objectives to develop its presence in the city and I look forward to contributing to the growth of this successful Midlands business.”
