Memorial to be held for Ronnie Bowker
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Ronnie Bowker, Ernst & Young’s former senior partner in Birmingham, will be held on Monday 14 March at The Symphony Hall on Broad Street, Birmingham.
Bowker passed away in December last year following a battle with cancer.
The service will be held at 11.30am, and is open to all those who knew and worked with him. The memorial will celebrate his life and the contribution he made to Birmingham and its business community.
Bowker was recognised as one of the city's most respected business leaders.
He was heavily involved in a number of professional organisations, including CBI West Midlands Regional Council, Birmingham Forward and the Birmingham Learning and Skills Council, and was a long term supporter of the arts, holding positions as chairman of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and director of the Hippodrome Trust.
