Lloyds agrees £4m Heavyweight deal
Heavyweight Air Express Group, based at East Midlands Airport, has moved its banking to Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets in a deal worth £4m. The air solutions provider said that the finance package will “introduce more flexibility” to its banking to help maximise cashflow.
Heavyweight Air Express Group’s new flexible working capital package will streamline the business’s finances.
The company operates 12 trading entities across the globe, with offices in the US, Asia Pacific, Ireland and the UK. The new banking deal aims to create greater efficiency through the provision of a revolving credit facility and overdraft.
Colin White, group finance director of Heavyweight Air Express, said: “The corporate markets team at Lloyds Bank impressed us with its understanding of our business and the need to introduce more flexibility to our banking in order to maximise our cash flow. Following a competitive pitch, the bank clearly demonstrated its ability to tailor the best overall package and we’re very pleased to welcome them on board.
