Cardea Resourcing secures council contract
Health and social care recruitment company Cardea Resourcing has been awarded a contract by Nottinghamshire County Council to supply temporary social care staff.
The Nottingham-based agency will provide the council with temporary qualified social workers, occupational therapists, chefs and other social care personnel to cover any sudden surges in workload or long term sickness.
Cardea Resourcing, which is part of the Barker Ross group of recruitment companies, was formed a year ago to supply health and social care recruitment services to both public and private sector clients across the UK.
Cardea’s commercial director, Benn Sandilands, said: “We’ve had a few good contract wins of late but this one is our largest to date and we’re delighted to be given the opportunity to provide health and social care professionals to the county council.
“Securing it shows that in just a short space of time we have developed a business which is more than capable of competing with some of the more established national agencies.”
