Alumet joins BITC
Specialist facade contractor Alumet has become the first small business in the Coventry and Warwickshire region to be enrolled in Business in the Community (BITC).
The Southam-based contractor has joined major businesses such as Jaguar Land Rover, Severn Trent and the University of Warwick in the BITC network.
The national organisation provides support for business areas including the workplace, community, marketplace and environment.
BITC is a not-for-profit organisation with more than 830 members. It is chaired by Mark Price, the managing director of supermarket giant Waitrose.
Alumet director Dean Walton said: “We are honoured to be the first SME in the region to join BITC. Our relationship will hopefully not only help to develop our own business practices but also ensure that the community benefits from increased employment, charity support and overall economic renewal.”
