Developer RO St Bernards (ROSB) has let the remaining office space in the first phase of its Newhall Square development in Birmingham. The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) has agreed a lease on four floors, which will become its new regional headquarters.

The NSPCC has agreed lease terms on 7,385 sq ft at 6-7 Newhall Square, spread over the four upper floors of the development.

The charity signed the deal on a ten-year lease at an undisclosed rent.

MADE, the architecture centre for the West Midlands, moved into the building in October last year and occupies 3,089 sq ft on the ground floor.

The office is part of the first phase of the £63m mixed-used Newhall Square development which includes 10,856 sq ft of new build offices and a 100-bed Travelodge.

Phase two of the scheme, which is expected to start on site later this year, will include further hotel and office accommodation and the developer is offering fully funded design and build packages from 10,000 sq ft – 100,000 sq ft.

Agents on the scheme are Colliers International and GBR Phoenix Beard. Savills advised the NSPCC.
