Harrison Clarke advises AIM duo
Regional law firm Harrison Clark has advised on two AIM company deals. The Worcester-based firm acted on behalf of listed Focus Solutions on its recent disposal as well as the acquisition of Devil Fish Poker by The Weather Lottery.
Focus Solutions’ recent disposal was worth about £42m. the Warwickshire-based company provides software and consultancy solutions to the financial services industry.
The Weather Lottery, the lottery and gaming firm based in Doncaster, acquired Devil Fish Poker for a reported £40,000 in cash and £290,000 in shares.
Alison Scott, senior associate in the corporate department at Harrison Clark, who led the deals, said: “It’s not only rare for a firm outside Birmingham or London to be part of such complex, high level deals, but to complete two successfully within such a short period of time demonstrates both the breadth and depth of specialist expertise that Harrison Clark has to offer.”
