Nottingham eco homes snapped up

Share | |

The latest nine eco homes constructed as part of The Meadows scheme in Nottingham have all been acquired. The sustainable properties, in Green Street, are part of a wider £8m development.

The homes were all snapped up within three days of going on the market. Nine homes now remain on the £8m, 38-home scheme. Nottingham-based developer Blueprint is behind the project.

John Long, from Blueprint, said: “We are absolutely delighted with the response. It shows there is really strong demand out there for a more architectural approach to design and a more sustainable, low energy product.

“And of course, The Meadows location is great too, next to the River Trent and within ten minutes’ walk of both Nottingham city centre and West Bridgford.”

The development is a mixture of three and four- bed contemporary town houses next to the Trent Embankment. It was designed by Nottingham architect Marsh Grochowski.
