Learning World teams up with Liverpool chamber
Vocational learning services provider Learning World, based in Nottingham, has formed a new partnership with Liverpool Chamber of Commerce designed to support the training needs of the logistics industry in Liverpool.
The scheme will start in spring and offer apprenticeships, NVQs and commercial course provision. Other services will include holding introductory meetings, conducting training needs analysis, funding and delivering training.
Carole Crosby, deputy chief executive of Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, said: “This will further strengthen the Liverpool chamber’s training’s offer, and it will provide an enhanced and valuable training resource within the city.
“With logistics and warehousing playing a key part in the Greater Merseyside economy, this training opportunity should appeal to many companies.”
Jack Buchanan, partnerships and contracts manager at Learning World, said: “Learning World will work collaboratively with Liverpool chamber to promote its mission: the development, growth and sustained economic viability of chamber members, and the wider business community in Liverpool."
