Encore divulges Birmingham expansion plans
Encore Personnel Services, based in Leicester, has announced plans to open a new office in Birmingham. The expansion comes after the recruitment company revealed an increase in turnover of 62 per cent in its year-end financial results for 2010.
Turnover grew to £22.6m for 2010, which has allowed the company to expand and open its 17th regional location, the company said.
Encore has offices in Coventry and Telford, and after what the company describes as “an upturn in business” in the area over the last 12 months, it has revealed plans to open an office in Birmingham city centre.
Greg Latham, managing director at Encore, said: “This is huge. I’m really proud of our achievements in 2010 which has seen our biggest year on year increase in terms of turnover. It has meant we have been able to greatly increase our retained earnings with zero debt and still leave pre tax margins at industry leading levels.
“This increase in orders puts the company on track to become a leading recruitment organisation in the UK in the next few years and our confidence is illustrated by the new branch opening in Birmingham this week which will be followed by more expansion throughout 2011.”
