New partner at Fraser Brown
Andrew Pilkington has left law firm Flint Bishop to join rival Fraser Brown as partner in the business services team.
Prior to his time at Flint Bishop, Pilkington spent five years working as the commercial and legal advisor at Rolls Royce. He has worked within both the private and public sectors and has experience of a range of commercial contracts. As a trustee of Football in the Community, a registered charity affiliated to Derby County Football Club, he also holds specialist knowledge of the sports sector.
He said: “Joining Fraser Brown is an opportunity for me to pursue my broad range of interests and share my expertise with an expanding team base. The firm is forward thinking and this new position presents a personal challenge that I believe would be incredibly difficult to match in today’s market.”
Peter Thornley, managing partner at Fraser Brown, said: “Andrew specialises in commercial contracts. This includes agency, supply and distribution, sponsorship, franchise and IT agreements. This specialisation adds considerable niche strength to an expanding business services team. We are looking forward to the challenges that 2011 will bring and further increasing our market share in the East Midlands business community.”
