Avingtrans signs €2.2m deal
A subsidiary business of Avingtrans, the Nottingham-based aerospace components manufacturer, has won a three-year agreement with a European medical manufacturer. Jena Tec, the company’s industrial products division, has signed the deal which is thought to be worth €2.2m over three years.
The recipient of the deal was not disclosed.
Under the agreement, Jena Tec will supply high precision miniature ballscrews for use within a range of equipment by the customer.
The contract will begin in the fourth quarter of 2011 before full production volumes are added in 2012.
