Midlands hotels join Accor Mercure brand

Share | |

A number of hotels across the Midlands owned by Focus Hotels will use Accor's Mercure branding as part of a franchise agreement.

The region's hotels to be affected are: The Madeley Court Hotel, Telford; The Hatherton Country House Hotel, Staffordshire; and The Goldthorn Hotel and Leisure Club, Wolverhampton.

These are among ten hotels throughout the UK that will be rebranded.

All of the hotels will continue to be owned and managed by Focus and no operations will change, but the company believes they will benefit from a wider marketing network through the association with Accor.

Focus said this will improve the amount of visitors from the UK and overseas and impact positively upon the local economies.

There are 700 Mercure-branded hotels in more than 50 countries.
