Thurmaston sheds shifted by Mather Jamie
Loughborough property agent Mather Jamie has sold a group of industrial units in Thurmaston to a local investor. The unnamed new owner has acquired the 0.82-acre site at 647 Melton Road, and intends to refurbish and redevelop the premises for onward letting.
The units range in size from 447 sq ft to 7,824 sq ft, with the site offering 15,845 sq ft of space in total.
Mather Jamie director Alex Reid said: “This site – comprising seven industrial/office units in the heart of Thurmaston – offers great redevelopment, refurbishment and new build opportunities.
“Thurmaston continues to be a popular industrial location with a limited supply of property. It has good communications via the A46 Western Bypass affording access north towards Newark and the A1 once the A46 dual carriageway is completed, and is also within easy reach of junctions 21 and 21A of the M1.”
The sale is the second deal recently completed by Mather Jamie in the Melton Road area. The property agent agreed terms on a 9,000 sq ft premises at 920 to 922 Melton Road for East Midlands Electrical Installations.
