Octavian secures key contracts

Security firm Octavian Security, based in Derby, has won a series of new contracts in the city. Amongst the new customers are Smith of Derby, Orchid IT, Trimble and Stanno Sports.

The firm has signed up the new clients to its key holding and alarm response service.

If an alarm is activated at any of the premises, notification is sent directly to Octavian’s control room on Pride Park and a security guard is immediately dispatched to investigate.

The company’s co-owner and director, Kavita Oberoi, said: “Our security officers are trained to deal with every kind of situation,” said “When an alarm is activated it can usually be easily explained, but there’s always the chance that it could be something more sinister. By using our service, the businesses owners are not only investing in the security of their premises, but also their own personal safety by not having to venture into a potentially dangerous situation.

“It’s crucial that any problems are investigated as quickly as possible and, as many of our clients are based on Pride Park, we’re able to provide an extremely rapid response time, which many other security firms just aren’t able to offer.”

Octavian Security moved to Derby’s Pride Park earlier this year, having previously been based in Colwick, Nottinghamshire.
