Macildowie secures 14 jobs

Specialist recruitment company Macildowie said it has used its “network of contacts” to save 14 jobs in Leicester. The company stepped in when 14 clerical candidates were made redundant in the city, and secured jobs for them at Consumer Money Matters.

Consumer Money Matters, also based in Leicester, is a subsidiary of Carrington Carr Holdings.

Macildowie director, James Taylor, said: “Many of the 14 had worked for the previous company for a long time and the concept of suddenly having to find a job was quite alien to them. We were fortunate to work for Carrington Carr locally, which is a business on the upward curve, and we were able to re-home the candidates there.”

Carrington Carr and Consumer Money Matters (CMM) specialise in will and estate planning and a range of other financial services.
