Birmingham investor supports Peopletoo
EV, the Birmingham-based investor, has backed a public sector transformation company with a “substantial” investment. Leicestershire-based Peopletoo has received funding to recruit new operational staff and further fund its public sector operations.
The undisclosed investment was led by EV via the Coalfields Funds alongside Turning Point Investments, headquartered in Nottingham.
Maggie Kenney, chief executive of Peopletoo, said: “We are excited to welcome EV as investors in our business. Whilst we are a young operation, we have ambitious plans and look forward to working alongside EV to deliver these.
“We believe that with the overwhelming pressures on our local government customers following the Comprehensive Spending Review, our operational experience can assist them to deliver innovation and true transformation in services."
Jonathan Diggines, chief executive of EV, said: “This is the third investment for EV in the Midlands in 2010. We continue to see significant demand from SMEs and look forward to a busy 2011."
