EIC makes the grade with school fit-out

Building services provider EIC has completed a £1.1m mechanical and electrical installation contract for St Anne’s Primary School in Chelmswood, Birmingham. The Warwickshire-based company completed the project in seven months.

The newly constructed school has been fitted with solar panels, a new fire alarm system, under floor heating and electrical door access.

Ian Lyall, joint managing director for EIC, said: “The systems we have put in place have not only contributed towards making the new building energy efficient but have also helped to provide a modern working environment for staff and pupils at St Anne’s Primary, enabling them to focus on the important business of teaching and learning.

EIC has recently completed several projects at educational institutions, including the City of London Academy, North East Worcester College and Oxford University’s Medical Sciences Teaching Centre.
