Business school dean to leave Aston
The executive dean of Aston Business School will step down from his role at the end of the month. Professor Michael West will join Lancaster University Management School in the new year.
Professor West has worked at the business school for almost four years. He described his time in Birmingham as “remarkably fulfilling".
The Professor will remain at Aston for the three months between January and the end of March 2011, before joining Lancaster University on a three-day week contract.
A replacement for Professor West’s position at Aston has not yet been announced.
At Lancaster University, Professor West’s role will include “promoting effective leadership in health services and promoting health services’ effectiveness nationally and internationally”.
