Nelsons recruits new IFA
East Midlands law firm Nelsons has appointed Nick Davies as an independent financial adviser (IFA). Davies joins the firm’s Nottingham office having worked for FTSE 250 company Hargreaves Lansdown and pensions giant Standard Life.
Prior to joining Nelsons, Davies was a self-employed independent financial adviser. He previously worked in the Bristol office of Hargreaves Lansdown before moving to Standard Life for five years.
Associate and independent financial adviser at Nelsons, Alan Horne, said: “We’re delighted Nick has chosen to join Nelsons. He has invaluable expertise in advising on pensions as well as building and managing investment portfolios over £1m, so is a welcome addition to the team.”
Nelsons, which is also a member of Solicitors Independent Financial Advisers (SIFA), currently has more than £55m in funds under management for clients. It has offices in Nottingham, Leicester and Derby.
