Schlüter unveils online academy
Coalville-based Schlüter-Systems has invested £100,000 in a new 'e-learning academy'. The free online training facility created by the floor coverings manufacturer is thought to be the first available in the industry.
The new web-based training facility is an online learning management system, providing free 24-hour access to continuing professional development (CPD) courses.
The courses are aimed at improving the confidence and knowledge of people in the industry.
Ian Knifton, divisional mananger at Schlüter-Systems, said: “We are delighted to launch our new online academy, a unique facility which provides people with free 24-hour access to our product training courses as and when they require them. The interactive multi-media content player enables users to learn about our products and systems at their own pace, whilst also allowing them to gain instant access to supporting documents and information, anywhere and at anytime.”
Other features of the online academy include a personal resource area, which enables users to bookmark resources, as well as a media library which will include training and product videos.
