Hammonds builds construction practice
Hammonds is boosting its local construction team with the appointment of a new partner. Simon Bradley has joined the Birmingham legal firm from rival lawyers Clarke Willmott, where he was a partner within the construction team.
He is described as a contentious and non-contentious construction specialist who has acted on multimillion-pound disputes and projects for a mix of blue chip contractors and clients in the UK and internationally.
He is said to have particular experience in the energy and utilities, and health and social care sectors, advising on major infrastructure projects such as the construction of hospitals, sports stadia, an energy plant and an onshore wind farm development. He is also said to be experienced in PFI and public procurement litigation.
Nick Green, head of Hammonds’ Birmingham office, said: “We believe that there is real synergy between Simon’s experience and sector focus and that of our existing team which will make him a real asset in helping us to develop our practice.”
