Visit Solihull, says website
A website has been launched to promote tourism, events and leisure activities in Solihull in an attempt to bring business to the area.
Launched by Solihull Tourism Forum, Solihull Council and the board of Solihull Town Centre Business Improvement District (BID), the website – VisitSolihull.com – includes details of what is happening in the area, where to go, shopping attractions, eating and drinking venues, where to stay as well as the benefits of doing business in Solihull.
Andrew Cole, chairman of Solihull Tourism Forum and a BID board member, said: "Tourism and leisure is a huge part of what makes Solihull so successful and it is fantastic to finally have a website that is able to officially represent us on a worldwide stage."
The website is also set to support the promotion of BID businesses by providing links between websites, and actively encourage BID businesses to get involved in what is going on in Solihull.
