New general manager for Widdowson
Andrew Bartlam has joined Glenfield logistics supplier Widdowson Group as general manager.
Bartlam has held senior positions with Ryder Logistics, Norbert Dentressangle and NYK Logistics as well as running his own business consultancy in the logistics supply chain.
Commenting on his appointment, Bartlam said: “I joined the Widdowson Group because the business has a great reputation in the industry – it is still a family run company built on really solid foundations.
“My role is to enhance and build on our all-encompassing logistics service, ensuring that we have the skill set and the processes in place to achieve our full growth potential.”
The appointment is just one of three, with Joanne Sheraton joining the company as HR manager, and André Mostert joining as freight manager.
