Pedigree expands its northern operation
Nottingham-headquartered pet product supplier Pedigree Wholesale has expanded its northern operations by moving into Albion Park Industrial Estate in Leeds.
Pedigree has agreed a 12-year lease for a 20,000 sq ft detached distribution unit on Albion Park, the largest warehouse on the estate.
The deal was brokered by GVA Grimley’s Yorkshire industrial team, which advised the landlord F&C Reit Asset Management. DTZ Leeds also advised.
Iain McPhail, principal surveyor in GVA Grimley’s national markets industrial team, said: “This site was of particular interest to Pedigree Wholesale as the company was seeking expansion space with quick access to the motorway network and Leeds City Centre. It also offers a large service yard and loading provision which was essential for the company’s operations.”
