Listed business telecoms provider Daisy Group has launched a Birmingham office.

The Lancashire-based business has bought the former 3g Mobile site in Aston via parent company BNS Telecom and has identified the Midlands as a key area for growth.

Daisy, a provider of communications to more than 75,000 businesses across the UK, says it is now able to boast a backbone stretching the length and breadth of the country. The site in Aston joins existing offices in Northumberland, Lancashire, Manchester, Ipswich, Southampton and London.

The Birmingham base is now home to 40 Daisy employees encompassing the business’ telemarketing team, a specialist mobile team and hot desks for field-based account managers. More appointments are expected to follow.

Daisy sales director Karen Ullah said: “This is strong base and we have been continually impressed by the quality and enthusiasm of the people here. They have showed great zeal for being involved in the wider group and we really do believe the Birmingham site as being a key part of the Daisy growth story.”
