Relationship director appointed at Barclays
Barclays Corporate has announced the appointment of a new relationship director in Nottinghamshire. Ian Evans will transfer from the Royal Bank of Scotland to take up the position.
Evans worked for the Royal Bank of Scotland for 20 years - the last ten of which have been spent in the corporate and commercial banking division.
He will be responsible for a portfolio of existing Barclays Corporate clients, as well as developing new relationships with local businesses turning over between £5m to £30m.
Evans said: “I am delighted to be joining Barclays at an exciting time where we are investing heavily in the East Midlands to support local business. I will be joining an excellent team in Nottingham who are committed to providing first class service, building on solid foundations established over many years.”
