Moore calms down after The Apprentice
Warwickshire businesswoman Laura Moore says she has calmed down since appearing on BBC One's The Apprentice. Moore, who posted a record of achieving zero sales while leading her team during one week, is the latest contestant to be fired from the show by Lord Sugar.
The 22-year-old business development manager said the experience has taught her to "chill out" after frequently being seen losing her temper on the popular television show.
She told reporters: "The learning experiences for me were very much about how you approach people in business. I've lowered my tone a lot. I think I've learned to just chill out a bit really.
"I took it all very seriously. I got really frustrated when I saw the task going down a path I didn't think was right. There's a lot of calming of personality that's happened."
Her Apollo team lost a task hunting for obscure objects by £70 after failing to effectively negotiate down prices. Moore was fired despite arguing her haggling skills were better than those of project manager Liz Locke and fellow contestant Stella English.
