Nottingham law firm Rothera Dowson has promoted Neil Etherington to partner. The firm said the appointment signalled the beginning of expansion for the team.

In his new role, Etherington will now become more involved in the management of the team and interact with clients securing new instructions.

Having begun his career at Harvey Ingram in Leicester, Etherington also worked for Geldards, Howes Percival and Flint Bishop before joining Rothera Dowson three years ago.

Tom Redgate, head of the commercial property team, said: “We’ve grown the commercial property team organically with a strong base of long-term clients, with the help of great professionals like Neil.

“We believe that in his new role, Neil will help us to extend that growth curve further without losing track of the quality focus that has been our benchmark.”
