Newark company makes Times Top 100
Newark-based event and concert production company Liz Hobbs Group has been shortlisted for The Sunday Times Fast Track 100. The group, which stages music concerts, has been listed alongside the country’s fastest growing private companies.
The list, which is compiled by Fast Track and sponsored by Virgin, ranks Britain’s top 100 fastest growing private companies based on sales growth over the last three years.
Liz Hobbs Group produces open air concerts. In the last year, the company has staged 68 events, featuring artists such as Westlife and Rod Stewart. In 2010, the company’s events have attracted more than 500,000 customers.
The 2010 Fast Track 100 league table will be published in The Sunday Times on 5 December and will be followed by an awards event at Richard Branson’s Oxfordshire home in May 2011, as well as regional dinners throughout the year.
The group’s chief executive, Liz Doogan-Hobbs, said: “We’re delighted to be officially recognised for our ongoing commitment to excel as a customer focused organisation. Being shortlisted for this prestigious list is testament to the quality and hard work of our team and our excellent working relations with both clients and suppliers.”
