CDG cooks up iConic design
Daventry-based Catering Design Group (CDG) has secured a contract to design and fit the commercial kitchen and café area at the town’s iCon building. The kitchen design company will equip the eatery in the £8.5m innovation centre, due to open next year.
The iCon, an innovation centre for sustainable construction and green technologies, will provide more than 60 offices for small businesses in the sector.
It will also feature a conference hall for up to 300 people, a public piazza, exhibition space and a café/restaurant.
Philip Howard, managing director of the CDG, said: “It is a real pleasure and a privilege to be working on such a prestigious project. We are especially proud that the finished construction will become such a landmark building not only in our home town but across the country.
