Aldermore banks on new recruit
Aldermore Invoice Finance has appointed Anthony Melvin as regional sales manager. Melvin is to spearhead the expansion of Aldermore Invoice Finance in the East Midlands and lead funding advice for the region’s small and medium businesses.
Melvin joins Aldermore Invoice Finance after three years at Barclays Corporate in Leicester, advising on lending transactions, and four years in the asset finance and leasing market at GE Finance as national sales manager.
In his role at Aldermore, Melvin will take the range of factoring and invoice finance services to a large number of businesses operating in hubs such as Derby, Nottingham and Leicester, and across each of the counties.
Melvin said: “It is great to be on board with the Aldermore Invoice Finance team. As a result of tighter lending by the high street banks, more and more companies are turning to alternative methods of funding, such as invoice finance and factoring services.
"Aldermore is in a great position to support businesses across the East Midlands, and I will be looking to help as many as possible with our broad product offering.”
