Leisure Park sold for £14m
UBS Global Asset Management has sold Freeman’s Leisure Park in Leicester for £14.65m. The sale, made to clients of DTZ Investment Management, reflects a net initial yield of 6.97 per cent.
The 86,000 sq ft property is let on an overriding lease to Maidenhead-based Rank Group Division for a further 11-and-a-half years.
Freemans is sub-let to Odeon, Mecca Bingo, Nando’s and a Tom Cobleigh pub.
The leisure park is located in Aylestone Road, adjacent a Morrisons supermarket and close to both Leicester City Football Club and Leicester Tigers Rugby Football Club.
DTZ acted for the purchaser and King Sturge acted for UBS.
