Lloyds TSB Commercial has appointed a new senior manager to lead eight staff at its offices in Shirley and Sparkhill. The team's focus will be on West Midlands companies with a turnover between £125,000 and £5m.
Richard Southgate, who has been hired to the role, has more than 20 years' experience in the banking sector. The bank says he brings "considerable expertise to his role" having worked for the bank across the West Midlands including the last six years for Lloyds TSB's personal banking arm.
He previously worked for Lloyds TSB Commercial between 1993 and 2004.
Andy Youngman, area director for Lloyds TSB Commercial in Birmingham, said: “Richard makes a welcome return to Lloyds TSB Commercial, and with him in place, the team can further strengthen its support for businesses in the area.”
Southgate said: “I am tremendously excited to be once again working with the business community in the Solihull and Sparkhill areas, which I know very well, and I am really looking forward to my new role.”
