Nottingham Business School expands leadership team
Nottingham Business School, part of Nottingham Trent University, has made two new appointments to the roles of associate dean and head of commercial activities.
Taking up the post of associate dean is Professor Rebecca Taylor. As former head of economics at Nottingham Business School, Taylor has developed the division and its research output since she began the role in 2006. She was also instrumental in the development of the Business School’s consultancy unit Nottingham Economics.
Taylor has directed several national economics education projects and is associate director of the Economics Network, one of the 24 subject centres of the Higher Education Academy. Taylor held previous positions at the University of Portsmouth and joined Nottingham Business School in 2003.
She said: “Nottingham Business School is one of the UK’s largest, full-service business schools and, as associate dean, I’ll be able to play a bigger part in helping it to go from strength to strength.”
Dr Dawn Albery has been appointed to the role of head of commercial activities at Nottingham Business School. Albery has worked at the Business School since 1995 in various academic and development roles.
She said: “My roles have always had a strong commercial focus and I’m looking forward to building on my previous experience and expanding Nottingham Business School’s corporate links.”
