Scottish deal for Tradeteam
Birmingham-based drinks logistics company Tradeteam has agreed a deal to service its Scottish customers. The five-year distribution contract will involve the business delivering C&C brands including Tennent's Lager to pubs, clubs and bars.
Tradeteam has handled C&C’s distribution requirements since the company bought Wellpark Brewery and the Tennent’s brands in August 2009.
The agreement will involve Tradeteam delivering both secondary and primary distribution services and will "significantly extend" the existing commercial relationship between the two companies.
Tradeteam account director Simon Gallimore said: “We are extremely pleased to be given the responsibility of delivering C&C’s combined portfolio to an even larger customer base.
“We will certainly be drawing on our extensive experience of the Scottish marketplace and applying the same innovative delivery approach used to meet C&C’s requirements in Northern Ireland.”
Tradesteam also signed an official distribution deal with C&C Group in Northern Ireland six months ago.
