£250,000 windfall for Connexica

Share | |

Stafford-based Connexica has won £250,000 from Midven's Exceed Midlands Advantage Fund. The business intelligence company clinched the investment after developing its latest software product.

The Exceed Midlands Advantage Fund is a recently launched £18m pot financed by Lloyds TSB Development Capital, Advantage West Midlands and the European Regional Development Fund.

The company said the investment is a result of its development of a "new, unique business intelligence tool" called NetSearch. It allows users to index, enquire, analyse and present large volumes of corporate data at "search engine speed".

Surjit Kooner, investment director of Midven’s Exceed Midlands Advantage Fund, said he was pleased to be working with a "local company with great potential".
