Derby showcased at MAPIC
Derby has been chosen as one of the 'Spotlight Cities' at the MAPIC international retail event being held in Cannes this week.
The city is attending as part of the UK stand and Marketing Derby managing director John Forkin will present to more than 100 international investors in a session on retail opportunities tomorrow (18 November).
Forkin said: “We will especially be promoting Riverlights which is now ready to let and as well as getting our message out to retailers that Derby has the highest salaries outside of London.”
Other cities presenting include Gent and Genoa and more than 3,000 delegates are expected to attend the exhibition.
MAPIC is taking place from today (17 November) until Friday (19 November).
